Jamicia Willingham is an associate in the firm’s Insurance Defense practice group, handling first- and third-party no-fault insurance cases. She finds great satisfaction in interpreting the law to benefit her clients.
Jamicia received her Bachelor of Arts in political science from Oakland University and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. While in law school, she was active on the Moot Court Board of Advocates, serving as a National Team Member and Executive Director.
During law school, Jamicia clerked for three different law firms, as well as The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), which allowed her to experience several areas of law practice and all phases of litigation, including legal research and drafting memoranda, motions, briefs, and pleadings. She also conducted extensive research and analyzed constitutional issues, discrimination law, and the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act.
