Jay S. Sherston

An exceptionally skilled writer, Jay Sherston doesn’t do what’s already been done, he weighs all facets of a case and applies whatever means necessary to the task at hand to achieve successful outcomes for clients of our Business & Commercial Litigation group.

Before becoming an attorney, Jay was a high school teacher and football coach. His interests eventually led him to follow a legal career path. After law school, Jay secured a law clerkship with Justice John C. Few of the Supreme Court of South Carolina. Jay then joined a national products liability defense firm, where he handled all phases of litigation and gained valuable deposition and motion experience, including drafting and arguing a successful motion to dismiss in a multimillion-dollar products liability case involving self-driving technology.
