John Cusmano is a talented and experienced litigator in business litigation, premises liability, general liability, and civil rights issues.

John began his legal career with the Michigan Court of Appeals Research Division before serving as a Law Clerk for both Michigan Supreme Court Justice Maura Corrigan and Justice Brian Zahra. He conducted detailed legal research, preparing research reports for both civil and criminal appeals prior to oral argument, wrote proposed opinions, concurrences, and dissents, and reviewed applications for leave to appeal and cases scheduled for conference consideration.
Before coming to Zausmer, John worked for a civil litigation firm specializing in insurance coverage, administrative, and municipal law.
