An accomplished litigator, Kathleen Blessing handles PIP and third-party negligence matters in the firm’s Insurance Defense practice group.
A superior problem-solver with a track record of success at trial, Kathleen feels at home in the courtroom. Initially interested in working for the FBI, she soon realized it would be too restrictive, so she turned her investigative interests to the study of law. Driven to deliver quality work and positive results, Kathleen thrives on pulling all of the pieces of the story together to get to the heart of the matter.
Expertly knowledgeable about the insurance industry and medical terms, Kathleen started as a workers’ compensation claims examiner for several large insurance companies. That position required her to interview claimants, witnesses, employers, and medical specialists to determine compensability. She gained valuable experience interpreting laws and regulations and preparing case evaluations and settlements. Kathleen then worked for a small defense firm handling insurance cases. She also has experience in criminal defense and child neglect cases.Read More +
