After receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Wayne State University, Mary earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. While at U of D Mercy, she served as the Title Editor of the Law Review and was a Detroit Mercy Law Fellow. Mary also worked as a Law Clerk for Lakeshore Legal Aid, where she drafted and revised pleading and memoranda regarding family law and landlord-tenant issues, and assisted clients going through eviction.

Giving back to the community has always been important to Mary, and she has been very active with two organizations that are close to her heart. She assisted with organizing fundraising events with The Shlama Foundation to raise money for families in Iraq, and she volunteered with E’rootha, which is an organization dedicated to tutoring and mentoring refugee ESL middle school students.

Outside of the office, Mary loves to socialize and celebrate life’s small moments with her friends and family.
