Tim attended Western Michigan University, where he majored in philosophy and set his sights on a career in law. Upon earning his Juris Doctor from Lewis and Clark in Portland, Oregon, Tim worked for Federal District J. E. Jones on the Ninth Circuit, as well as a noted defense firm. Upon returning to Michigan in 2002, he worked as a plaintiff’s attorney before moving to a new firm, where he grew their satellite office to nine lawyers in two years and established himself as an exceptionally successful trial attorney. Managing a legal team and handling a docket of over 100 cases, Tim has proven himself to be an exceptional leader and litigator.
With over 16 years of experience and more than 1,000 depositions under his belt, Tim is driven to work and motivated to resolve issues. He excels at deposition and motion practice, as well as alternative dispute resolution. He thrives in the courtroom and looks for every new opportunity to create relationships. Tim has also shared his experiences and educated students, teaching law at the college level and as a guest lecturer.
In his spare time, Tim enjoys spending quality downtime with his son bonding over dinners and Xbox.
