Zausmer Welcomes 9 New Attorneys

Zausmer is pleased to welcome the following new attorneys to our firm:

Ollie Ajami

Ollie is a recent graduate of Wayne State University Law School and joins our Insurance Defense practice group. In addition to his strong academic background, Ollie was the quarterback of the Grand Valley State University football team.

Erin Alman

Erin is a skilled litigator with over a decade of experience.  She previously practiced at a national defense firm, where she handled all aspects of no-fault claims, as well as automobile, premises, and general liability matters.  Before that, she was an assistant prosecuting attorney at the state level, where she tried dozens of cases before judges and juries.    

Shelby Avery

Shelby represents insurers and insureds in first-party no-fault and third-party automobile negligence claims. Before Zausmer, she practiced with an insurance defense firm defending carriers in suits throughout Michigan.

Rayan Harajli

A recent graduate of Wayne State University Law School, Rayan was an active member of the Business Law and Community Clinic and the Muslim Law Students Association. She is a welcome addition to our Insurance Defense group.

Michael Jernukian

Michael is a recent graduate of Wayne State University Law School.  While in law school, Michael clerked at Zausmer.  He is now an associate in the Insurance Defense practice group.

Erin Katz

An experienced litigator and skilled writer, Erin is also a licensed real estate agent and an active advocate for the Building Bridges Scholarship program. Erin has joined the firm’s Insurance Defense practice group. 

Alex  Khalifeh

A recent graduate of Wayne State University Law School, Alex comes to Zausmer from a metro Detroit firm specializing in personal injury litigation.  He is a member of our Insurance Defense practice. 

Talitha Mahome

Talitha focuses her practice on all areas of Michigan’s No-Fault Act.  She currently represents the interest of the Michigan Automobile Insurance Placement Facility in no-fault litigation throughout Michigan. 

Jonathan Shina

The first attorney in his family, Jon graduated from Wayne State University Law School, where he was an active member of the Wayne State Chaldean American Student Association.  Jon clerked for Zausmer while in law school.  Following graduation, Jon transitioned to his current role as an associate in the firm’s Insurance Defense practice group.
