Mischa Boardman Inspires Young Women at MSU’s “Girls Night In”

What does it mean to be a leader in today’s professional world?

To help female college students answer that question and facilitate mentoring opportunities for them with successful businesswomen, the Department of Human Development & Family Studies at Michigan State University’s College of Social Science recently kicked of its “Girls Night In” seminar series, featuring Zausmer shareholder Mischa Boardman on the panel.

More than 120 students attended the October 22, 2015 program, gaining inspiration from Mischa and other presenters, including Ellen Cokinos, Founder of Ellen Cokinos Consulting for Non-profits; Margaret Dimond, President of Karmanos Cancer Hospital; and Christine Soneral, Senior Vice President and General Counsel of ITC Holdings.

The series continues in November and December, with seminars addressing communication, civility, resiliency, and the challenges that professional women face in the workplace.
