Casual for a Cause: Mothers Against Drunk Driving

Every two minutes, someone is injured as a result of drunk driving, and 28 people die each day in drunk driving accidents.

Those statistics hit closer to home than you may think – on average two in three people will be involved in a drunk driving crash in their lifetime.

Started 35 years ago by a parent whose daughter was killed by an intoxicated driver, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is the nation’s largest nonprofit working to protect families from drunk driving, drugged driving, and underage drinking. MADD also supports drunk and drugged driving victims and survivors at no charge through local victim advocates and its 24-hour Victim Helpline.

To support this ongoing campaign, the attorneys and staff at Zausmer devoted their January 8th “Casual for a Cause” efforts to MADD, raising money to fund local MADD activities and programs.
