Danielle DePriest is dedicated to effectively and efficiently achieving the best possible results in the insurance defense cases she handles.

Danielle’s interest in public policy led her to the practice of law. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, and served as Vice Chair of American Movement for Israel and Chair of the Programming Board for Michigan Hillel. At Wayne State University Law School, Danielle was an academic standout, earning scholarships and awards for her performance, and held leadership roles in a number of extracurricular activities, including positions as coach and senior member of the Moot Court Team, Executive Articles Editor of the Wayne Law Review, President of the Women’s Law Caucus, and Vice President of the Jewish Law Students Association.

To further enhance her classroom learning, Danielle interned with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, allowing her to observe courtroom trials and discuss the law and facts of each case with Judge Mark Goldsmith. She also clerked with two litigation firms, including Zausmer.

Danielle has obtained numerous victories for her insurance defense clients through motion practice.  She also recently second-chaired a third-party negligence action that resulted in a “No Cause of Action” verdict in favor of her client.  In addition to her insurance defense caseload, Danielle represents shopping malls and retail commercial property owners in landlord-tenant disputes.

Danielle continues her commitment to the community through Jewish Family Service of Metropolitan Detroit, an organization whose programming centers on safety net services for individuals and families, counseling services, and services for older adults. As a member of its Executive Board, she has helped create legal mentoring opportunities through an affiliation with the Jewish Bar Association
of Michigan.
