Heather Thatcher understands the importance of getting the big picture before diving into a case.

Being able to explain the details of all the information she has at hand helps to set her clients at ease and provide a sense of security. Heather believes it is important that she creates a personal bond with her clients and ensure that the line of communication is
always open.

Heather has prior experience as a nurse, giving her a unique perspective when evaluating each case. She can quickly analyze health records and easily recognize which medical treatments are relevant or necessary in each case.

Heather attended Oakland University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. After spending time working in the medical field, Heather attended Wayne State University Law School, where she was instrumental in reviving and leading the CB Warren Senate of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, one of two major law fraternities in the country.

Prior to working at Zausmer, Heather was staff counsel for a major nationwide insurer, where she handled first- and third-party no-fault defense litigation.

Spending time with family is important to Heather, as is maintaining health and fitness. When she’s not working, she enjoys competing in Ironman triathlons and traveling. She is also passionate about music and enjoys playing the guitar, drums, and piano.
