Jack B. McIntyre III

Jack McIntyre combines his trial and appellate expertise to deliver clear, strategic advocacy that supports client goals.

Jack has over a decade of experience in Michigan’s courts and focuses his practice on commercial disputes and appeals. He has tried 13 jury cases and argued matters before the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court.

Jack approaches every case by carefully listening to his clients and identifying what they want to achieve. He understands that success requires finding the path that most efficiently delivers a fair and sustainable result. By simplifying complex materials and presenting them in clear, structured terms, he makes legal arguments accessible and persuasive. He values collaboration and regularly draws on the insights of colleagues to sharpen arguments and anticipate challenges.

After serving in the U.S. Air Force as a Russian linguist, Jack earned a master’s degree in English and taught in South Korea. At Wayne State University Law School, he graduated magna cum laude, ranked third in his class, and distinguished himself in both moot court and trial advocacy competitions. His diverse experiences shaped a disciplined and analytical approach to the law, as well as a clear and practical style of advocacy.

Jack is a dedicated father to his teenage son, often attending soccer games and orchestra performances. He enjoys yoga, cycling, sailing, and carpentry–and is currently building a small sailboat.
