Nancy Knight’s practice focuses on defending insurers in coverage and liability matters. She works methodically, pairing in-depth legal knowledge with clear, consistent client communication. Her ability to connect with clients, opposing counsel, and judges strengthens her case strategy and supports positive outcomes.

Nancy’s experience in both plaintiff and defense work gives her a balanced view of litigation. She understands how each side builds a case and uses that insight to anticipate arguments, challenge assumptions, and guide her clients through each stage of litigation. Nancy dissects each case issue by issue, ensuring that no detail is missed. She keeps clients fully informed while tailoring a strategy that supports their goals.

Nancy holds a J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Wayne State University. She is admitted to practice in the State of Michigan and the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan. Her previous experience includes trial advocacy, appellate briefing, and child welfare litigation.

Outside the office, Nancy volunteers with the William Booth Legal Aid Clinic and helps plan its annual fundraiser. She spends her free time running, restoring her century-old home, and traveling off the beaten path.
