Brian Voorheis leverages his strong command of insurance defense and no-fault litigation to protect clients’ interests and resolve disputes.
Brian focuses his practice on insurance defense, with an emphasis on no-fault litigation. He represents insurers, drawing on years of experience on both sides of the courtroom to anticipate challenges and cut through complexity. He approaches every case with a comprehensive understanding of the file, reviewing records, analyzing claims, and examining every submission to refine defense strategy and identify the most efficient path forward.
Brian collaborates with clients to ensure that case strategy aligns with their goals, balancing both legal and business outcomes. His litigation history includes hundreds of negotiated settlements, successful motion practice, and a consistent track record of clear, honest client communication. He keeps clients informed and engaged by candidly communicating likely outcomes and guiding them through decisions with a practical lens.
Brian earned his law degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Oakland University. Before focusing on insurance defense, Brian handled plaintiff-side litigation, criminal defense, landlord-tenant disputes, and probate matters. This broad exposure sharpened his litigation instincts and gave him insight into how different parties approach legal conflict.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys traveling, hiking, and exploring new food destinations.
