Zausmer Announces New Shareholders

Zausmer, P.C. is proud to announce that attorneys Cristy DeVos, Brandon Heintzelman, Colin MacBeth, and Adam Post have been promoted to shareholders.

“We are pleased that Cristy, Brandon, Colin, and Adam have become shareholders of the firm. Each of them bring unique talents and have played a significant role in the growth of our firm,” said Managing Shareholder Mark Zausmer.

Cristy M. Devos is a talented litigator on the firm’s Insurance Defense team. She represents insurers and insureds in first-party no-fault and third-party automobile negligence claims, as well as general negligence and premises liability actions. Cristy is involved in all phases of litigation, from initial investigation to trial, delving deep into the law and facts of each matter. Cristy received her bachelor’s degree with high honors, and law degree magna cum laude, from Michigan State University.

Brandon S. Heintzelman is an attorney in the firm’s Insurance Defense group. Brandon’s practice consists of first-party, third-party, and property loss insurance defense cases. He handles arbitrations, dispositive motions, and appeals in matters filed all the way through the Michigan Supreme Court. Brandon earned his undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University, and his law degree from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Colin B. MacBeth defends carriers and insureds in auto negligence claims as well as first- and third-party actions. His thoughtful analysis of legal issues and meticulous investigation of facts consistently helps him get the most favorable results possible for his clients. Colin earned his undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University and his law degree from Ave Maria
School of Law.

Adam A. Post II is a consummate courtroom litigator and member of the firm’s Insurance Defense practice group. He focuses on first-party no-fault and third-party automobile negligence cases, and general negligence claims. Adam’s written and oral advocacy skills have helped him secure significant victories for his clients in state and federal courts throughout Michigan. He earned his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University and his law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
