Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic, unpredictable disease of the central nervous system that affects 2.3 million people worldwide.
It can cause extreme fatigue, blurred vision, and mobility problems such as poor coordination, loss of balance, and impaired sensation.
No one knows what causes MS, but studies suggest that genetic risk factors coupled with environmental factors make certain individuals more susceptible. While there are treatments that can lessen the symptoms of MS and improve quality of life for those who suffer with it, there is still no cure.
On March 31, Zausmer attorneys and staff went “Casual for a Cause” to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Michigan Chapter and contribute funds to help create a world free of MS.
