Danielle DePriest Named to Boards of Two Area Community Organizations

As her biography shows, Zausmer associate Danielle R. DePriest has a longstanding commitment to public policy and improving the community. Because of her dedication, she was recently installed as a member of the board of directors for two area non-profits.

Jewish Family Service of Metropolitan Detroit provides comprehensive social services for individuals and families in the Jewish community and Metro Detroit at large. Focusing on three core areas – safety net services, counseling, and services for older adults – the agency’s outreach efforts include domestic violence intervention, housing assistance, and mental health. In her capacity as a board member, Danielle also serves on the Leadership & Volunteers Committee.

NEXTGen Detroit helps native Detroiters and newcomers alike find meaning and build professional, religious, cultural, and communal relationships in its mission to be the hub of a vibrant and dynamic Jewish community for young adults in the area. Since its launch by the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit in 2012, the organization has become a model for Federations across North America. Along with her board responsibilities, Danielle is the co-chair of a program that helps cultivate leadership skills and connects young leaders in the Jewish Detroit community.
